World-wide Distribution Network Expands

Magnum Venus Plastech (M.V.P.) World-wide Distribution Network Expands to Include Plastech Line

Kent, WA – Magnum Venus Plastech is excited to announce that our world-wide distribution network will now carry and support the Plastech RTM line.

Magnum Venus Products purchased Platech T.T. in late 2006, and changed the company name to Magnum Venus Plastech to reflect the change of the top three Composites equipment manufacturers becoming one company.

Since the beginning of 2007, M.V.P. has been working to integrate the new product line into the existing family of products, and training our in-country distributors on the ins and outs of the Plastech technology.

With more and more companies making the move to closed mold production, it is vital that M.V.P. distributors completely understand the process and the equipment.  To this end, they have all been through extensive training with Alan Harper on the Plastech systems and Light RTM production, and are now ready to sell, and fully support, this process and the M.V.P. RTM equipment line.

Unlike other distribution networks, M.V.P. distributors are all dedicated solely to the sale and support of the equipment and innovative technology associated with M.V.P. Systems.  Many of Magnum Venus Plastech’s distributors around the world have been working with M.V.P. systems for 20 years or more, and they are experts in the technology.  They know the equipment they sell, inside and out.

They each employ technicians who are fully trained in maintaining M.V.P. equipment, and all carry a supply of spare parts.  This ensures that, should a customer have a maintenance issue, they will have a quick response by someone who knows the system and has the parts on hand.

In addition to carrying the full line of M.V.P. equipment for the RTM process, our distributors have also participated in the new Light RTM Training Course offered by M.V.P.  This course focuses on teaching those new to RTM the process, from the building and tooling of the mould, to injection of the part.  In the past, this course was conducted solely at the M.V.P. facility in the United Kingdom (the former headquarters of Plastech) by Alan Harper, but has now expanded to include the M.V.P. Technology Center in Kent, Washington.  We will also offer the course in other countries, hosted by our in-country distributors, which will be led by our RTM/Infusion Technical Specialist Charles Tur.

This is what sets Magnum Venus Plastech distributors apart from the pack.
